Physical therapy is a billable medical service that is covered by most medical insurance plans, including Medicare. However, it is not covered by Medicaid in Missouri unless the patient is
under the age of 21. What physical therapy costs you out of pocket is highly variable, depending on your specific insurance policy. We are always happy to check your insurance benefits for you
prior to your first appointment, or even if you are just considering seeking physical therapy treatment. We try to make whatever arrangements possible to make treatment affordable for you. Physical
therapy can only be delivered by a licensed PT or PTA and should not be confused with personal training or sports performance training. Personal training is a non-medical service, does not require
a doctor's order (although it is a good idea to inform your doctor), and cannot be billed to your insurance.
If you would like us to check your coverage, or if you would like to schedule a consultation, don’t hesitate to contact us today.
